Dining at Playground near Montréal

Playground, at 1500 Route 138 in Kahnawà:ke, sits about 20 minutes by car from downtown Montréal via the Honoré-Mercier Bridge. It is licensed by the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (KGC). The venue is 18+ on its website and at the premises, so its restaurants serve adults. There is no hotel on site, and so no hotel dining room open to all ages.

The steakhouse is etc. Steakhouse, as the name says plainly. ORSO Trattoria Moderna is the trattoria, with a condition at the door: a Playground Player's card is required to dine there. THE RAIL was established in 2010, the year Playground opened. Its schedules do not agree, so the guide leaves its hours out.

Menus are not described here. The guide keeps to names, places and hours.

At the steakhouse, etc. Steakhouse, service runs Sunday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight. No booking details are published for it. ORSO Trattoria Moderna is open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., with no separate days set out. It takes walk-ins only, no reservations, and a Playground Player's card is required to dine.

For THE RAIL, no hours appear on this page: Playground's own schedules for it disagree, and the guide does not choose between them.

All times are Eastern time, as published. A service that runs past midnight belongs to the evening it started. Holiday hours are not given here, so check Playground's own site before a holiday visit. The service hours grid on the All restaurants page sets these kitchens beside those of every other venue in the guide.

The gaming floor at Playground stays open round the clock, every day. That schedule belongs to the gaming floor, not the dining rooms, and the restaurant hours above stand on their own. The 2nd and 3rd floors hold enclosed rooms for smoking; elsewhere, the floor is smoke-free. No shows are listed for Playground in this guide.

Entry is 18+, on Playground's website and at the premises. In Québec, gambling is legal from age 18. Playground runs no online gaming site, and it calls any ad or site that claims otherwise fraudulent.
